| Forest potherb is a clean and pollution-free natural food, which is rich in nutrition and has high medical care effect. The species, habitats, eating methods, dietotherapy, artificial cultivation, development and utilization of forest potherb in Xinping County were investigated. The results showed that there were 190 species of forest potherb belonging to 158 genera and 88 families, including 76 frequently edible species. This paper put forward some suggestions, such as strengthening the protection of forest potherb resources, carrying out research on the planting, preservation and deep processing technology of characteristic forest potherb, strengthening the publicity of forest potherb knowledge, and developing ethnobotany research, to further pay attention to the protection of forest potherb resources, artificial domestication and cultivation, preservation, processing and sales, so as to promote industrial development and drive the masses to become rich. |
