      作为“四大检察”之一的公益诉讼自全面实施以来，在生态环境与资源保护等领域取得了不菲成绩。野生动物作为生态文明建设中的重要一环，具有的经济和生态价值均不可忽视，理应受到重视，而在野生动物保护方面公益诉讼发挥着不可替代的作用。对野生动物保护领域公益诉讼案件和典型案例进行统计分析，检察机关提起野生动物保护公益诉讼的困境有野生动物立法理念存在局限，野生动物保护事后治理成常态，野生动物公益诉讼案件范围狭窄，互联网野生动物交易新型化等问题。通过对立法理念进行矫正，构建野生动物保护风险预防模式，拓展野生动物公益诉讼案件范围，加强对互联网野生动物交易监管等方式对野生动物保护领域公益诉讼进行优化，使公益诉讼更好地发挥作用。
英文摘要:
      As one of the “four major procuratorial work”, public interest litigation has made great achievements in the fields of ecological environment and resource protection since its full implementation. As an important part of the construction of ecological civilization, wildlife has economic and ecological value that can not be ignored and should be paid attention to. Public interest litigation plays an irreplaceable role in wildlife protection. Through the statistics and analysis of public interest litigation cases and typical cases in the field of wildlife protection, the difficulties of procuratorial organs in filing public interest litigation for wildlife protection included the limitations of the concept of wildlife legislation, the post governance of wildlife protection into normality, the narrow scope of public interest litigation cases for wildlife, and the new type of Internet wildlife trading. By correcting the legislative concept, constructing the risk prevention model of wildlife protection, expanding the scope of wildlife public interest litigation cases, and strengthening the supervision of Internet wildlife transactions, the public interest litigation in the field of wildlife protection could be optimized, so as to make the public interest litigation play a better role.
