| In recent years, the global climate challenge has become increasingly severe. Energy conservation and emission reduction has become a major theme of human activities, and carbon sinks projects came into being. Forest carbon sinks trading plays an important role in the international carbon market and develops rapidly. However, in the absence of legal protection, China′s forest carbon sinks trading presents a series of problems such as unclear ownership of forest carbon sinks, complex and overlapping functions of supervision subjects, and carbon sinks contract fraud. In order to ensure the long-term development of forestry carbon sinks projects and achieve carbon peak and carbon neutralization as soon as possible, this paper put forward a perfect path to formulate special laws and regulations, clarify the ownership of forest carbon sequestration, improve the forest carbon sinks measurement and monitoring system, establish a unified supervision platform, improve the information disclosure system and clarify legal responsibilities. |
